Volunteer

FETCH is a volunteer run and foster home-based rescue. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes.

Our goal one day is to build a facility in California City, California, so that our rescue has both a foster home-based program, in addition to a facility to house and hold rescue animals.

We need volunteers to help with various tasks such as: administrative assistance, fundraising assistance, animal fostering, transport, social media posting, animal pickup and drop off, assistance at adoption events, volunteer and foster support, adoption and event coordination, and more. There are many ways you can help no matter if you have limited time or resources! Depending on the specific volunteer role, time commitment can be as little as an hour a month or as much time as you have to give. Whether you prefer to volunteer remotely or in the field, we have a role for you.

By volunteering at FETCH Animal Rescue, you are helping make a difference in the lives of animals in need, while gaining valuable experiences and skills that can be beneficial in your future. An opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals and forming lasting friendships. No matter what role(s) you play as a volunteer, you are collectively helping us make a positive impact to the communities we serve, determined to help get every dog and cat at FETCH their second chance and their forever home. Everything we do as a volunteer at FETCH helps set each animal up for success.

You must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer at FETCH.

Volunteers can be hundreds of miles away or in the Kern County, California area and hands on. Both types of volunteers are needed. If you have any questions, please reach out to us so that we can answer them.
